I'm a very strange size and have a HARD time finding bras but the best I've managed is Soma. I actually went to Victoria's Secret one day and the size 2 teenager said with "that sound" in her voice, "We don't have anything here for you." I felt like telling her have a kid, take crazy drugs that make you gain weight, have fertility drugs, and then talk to me, you b**Tch.

I handwash and air dry my bras. I am apparently the last one who still does. It is really hard for me to find bras that fit so I take good care of them.

This is really awesome in an informational-y way, Jen. Plus, you are so dang funny!

"A lot of women don’t understand the value of good lingerie and, let’s face it, who wants to spend a lot of moola on something that’s not going to be seen by your colleagues (unless your job involves the receipt of a lot of one dollar bills over the course of a night)"

We buy from a local organic butcher that sells grass-fed and we also buy from local farms that raise grass-fed cattle.

This sounds so yummy --especially after a diet of occasional oatmeal, plain yogurt, and bananas this week due to the stomach flu.

I know you've mentioned that you get your meat at a butcher's --is it organic or grass-fed? Or just better regular beef? I'm asking because I have so much trouble finding grass fed beef around here, and I've gotten to the point where I just don't buy meat. We do have a butcher's but he doesn't sell grass-fed or organic meat.

If anything, my experience has been that magic happens in my crock pot, so I've all but stopped using my Dutch oven.

I made a big beef stew in my crockpot the other day. Tom had leftovers yesterday and I'll probably finish it up for lunch today.

I love pot roast. Growing up my mom served it every Sunday, she'd always put carrots & red potatoes in with the meat. That's how I prefer mine, but the rest of the family prefers some mashed taters. When you're feeling decadent, throw a block of cream cheese in with the mashed taters, magic happens!

Anyone else find that the crock pot makes for a tougher pot roast? I've stopped using mine & only use my dutch oven.
