After a lot of thought, I decided to add advertising to this blog — not because I expect to get rich and support my family, like some very well known bloggers, but because blogging costs me money (domain name, site hosting, etc.) and I’d like to at least break even. If I end up making enough money to buy shoes, I can probably live with that.
Advertising:
I do accept a limited number of paid advertisements for products and services that I like and/or believe in. Ad sizes and pricing are as follow:
- 200 x 200 – $45/month
- 200 x 150 – $35/month
- 150 x 150 – $25/month
- Text ads – $20/month
The ads will begin on the 1st of the month and run until the last day of the month. I also offer discounts on multi-month ads.

I often mention products that I have bought with my own money and for my own (or my family’s) use. I do NOT accept sponsorships for my posts and I will never accept cash payment to write a review of a product.
However, I will occasionally accept free samples and products to review if I feel they would interest my readership.
