We all gripe about them on Facebook and Twitter, when we’re picking up coffee before work, or with colleagues at work.
Mondays happen every seven days, no matter what, yet we act as though they’re some sort of unexpected trick played on us.
I know of one person who actually greets each Monday with a smile on her face and a spring in her step. She just happens to love Mondays. She actually embraces them. Her Mondays are scheduled, organized, and productive. She takes a day in which most of us drag along and wait for the hours to tick away and she turns it into a major win.
We could all take a lesson from that.
Today I decided to make my Monday count. It’s not even noon, yet I’ve made lists for the day, gone through emails, cleared piles off my desk, scheduled my exercise, and have started knocking off projects. I am now feeling ready for this week.
What about you? What do you do to prepare for Mondays and the week beyond? What could you do to make things easier?
