Three smiles

Three things are making me smile today:

1. The heat here in Virginia has been slowly subsiding. This week, it’s been around 50F when I get up at dawn and the highs have been in the 70s. It’s not too humid either.

2. My quads no longer hate me for Sunday. I think I’m ready to go out for a short easy run.

3. The new bling that someone got yesterday afternoon, as shown in the photo. We now have two Jenworld residents in braces, with the promise of dazzling smiles in the not-too-distant future.

What’s making you smile today?

Mumford & Sons and Muse each have new albums being released soon. The thought of great new music blasting in my ears has me smiling.

The wonderful weather here in Richmond, VA.

  5. Cassi Renee says:

Having Monday and Tuesday over with. Those days are just too long. Lovely weather. Getting a bead soup from Kalmbach Books. Good days.

    That’s a dazzling smile :-)

It’s Wednesday and one step closer to Friday. : )
(It’s been a tough week so far. The prospect of the weekend is keeping me going.)

Oh – gymnastics tonight! My kids love it and I love that they love it. So that makes me smile.

  8. Shana says:

Day three of sticking to my 10k reboot plan, including a nice run, motivated by your half-mar joy, which reminded me that I used to love running :)

  9. Grilled cheese. (Sorry Shana.)

My quads have stopped killing me from my run.

Pilates tomorrow with a friend. (So my quads can start killing me again.)

  10. No humidity! I feel alive again!

  11. Just hearing (reading) about improved temperatures/humidity there makes me smile. Oh, sweet relief! I remember it fondly.
