Holiday Homes Tour 2011

Here it is, the 4th annual Holiday Homes Tour! I am so excited to see everyone’s decorations this year and I hope you are too.

Here are the participating bloggers this year:

  • Me (Duh) — A mix of traditional and mod decor that we’ve collected over the years.
  • Bite Size – Molly says her family’s Christmas style is “somewhere at the intersection of homespun, Hollywood, and Candy Land.”
  • Blooming Hill -
  • BunnyGoRound – Bunny’s style says their style is “all about more is better and what’s better than better?”
  • Creating Nirvana – Vanessa’s style is simple and elegant.
  • Filed Under Missylaneous – Missy has so many beautiful Christmas lovelies to share with everyone.
  • Green Girl in Wisconsin – Melissa’s decorations include lots of natural goodies from her 60 acre spread in Wisconsin and the influence of her three sons, who had me howling with laughter this fall over their attempts to convince their friends that a yeti lives in their woods.
  • I’m Mrs. Brightside – Susan says she’s going for lots of shine this year!
  • Juggling Life – I love Jenn’s Christmas decorations – very colorful, homey, and family-centric.
  • Keep Calm and Carry on Cooking – Christmas in New Zealand. Fabulous.
  • Kim Kasch – Kim decorates her lovely home for all the holidays and it’s always so much fun to see what new ideas she’s brought forth at Christmas.
  • La La Land – Her style is festive!
  • Little Miss Sunshine State – Having seen LMSS’s Christmas decorations before, I can tell you, you’re going to want to click over and check them out.
  • Meandering the Maze – Andrea’s style is all about whimsy, fun, and color.
  • Not Just Barbra – Barbara says her decorating style is “working mom of three.” Okay, she kids. She says their style is “nostalgic.” I say it’s beautiful.
  • Prairie Trails – Visit Britt’s home in the Black Hills of South Dakota and see why I’m in awe of her decorating mojo.
  • Ready… Row – Frank says his family’s decorating style is “basic and traditional.”
  • Scribblings of a Soccer Mom – Soccer Mom says her style is still evolving, but involves a lot of whimsy. I personally can’t wait to see how many trees she’s put up this year.
  • Strictly Guiding – Strictly Jen (she of the tartan fame) says they’ve gone minimalist this year, but I’m still hoping for a flash of tartan.
  • Smalltown Me – Knowing this blogger as well as I do, I’m expecting interesting, artistic decorations.
  • Spokalulu – Be prepared for colorful lights and yummy treats.
  • Wishing Heart – Jen says her style is “eclectic and lazy” but I think it’s fun.
  • Work in Progress – Sue isn’t sure how to describe their decorations — whimsical? traditional? Trendy? I can’t wait to see if she has any woolen gnomes in her house.

If your blog is missing, email me at jenontheedge (at) embarqmail (dot) com and I’ll add you a.s.a.p.

So,  don’t stick around here, start clicking away and admiring everyone’s holiday spirit!

  3. Smalltown Me says:

I just love this! Thanks for hosting, Jen!

  4. I hardly decorated this year. Maybe I should put a link to last year, when I went all out!

  5. Thanks so much for hosting, Jen! I’m looking forward to visiting everyone while I sip a Bloody Mary at a ski resort today (the rest of the family is skiing and I brought along my new Christmas present so I could virtual-visit). :D

PS: I thought that was YOUR award-winning lamp in the above picture for a minute there….

  6. I was without internet for 3 days and what was the one thing I was most worried about? Getting my holiday homes tour post up?! I can’t wait to visit everyone over the next couple of days.

  7. Lala says:

Thanks for hosting Jen! Sorry I’m late!

  8. Vanessa says:

Thanks again for hosting this tradition. Your house is beautiful as always.
