This is what I know: Weeks are too long and weekends are not long enough.
This is what I think: Starting school on a Wednesday is genius. Much better than on a Monday.
This is what I’m wearing: Running clothes now. Later today: Herringbone pattern sheath, black jacket, pantyhose, black pumps, conservative pearls and my great-great-grandmother’s cameo on the jacket. This will be the first time in seven or eight years that I’ve worn pantyhose.
This is what could change my life: Running has changed my life. I feel stronger and more fit, even though I haven’t really lost any weight.
This is what I’m eating: Greek yogurt, berries, and sunflower seeds for breakfast. Lots and lots of tomatoes, due to the continuous supply just 30′ from my back door.
Happy Friday everyone!
Hose? Wow – I swore those off when I turned 18! I agree about weekends – we need the French model (35 hour weeks and 8 weeks paid vacay).
I promised myself ten years ago that I was all done with pantyhose. Haven’t turned back yet.
Why the fancy clothes today? Or is that standard work wear for you?
You haven’t lose weight yet either? I thought it was just me. I’ve been running rather regularly since May/June and wonder about my progress at all–I think if I’d been losing weight I’d feel better about the whole thing!
Love all of your clothes for today. Except the hose. I gave them up. And threw them away. I agree with the exercise, even if you don’t lose weight at least you are doing it and feeling better. And your legs have to look amazing. Ten days and my volunteer “opportunity” is done, then on to taking care of me. Really.
Tomatoes. Love them. And corn. YUM!
Job interview?
I bet if you did your measurements that you have lost inches…
I hate pantyhose, I always end up with elephant knees. Now tights on the other hand…I love tights.
Pantyhose. Just seem so damn uncomfortable! But, maybe necessary evil. I just got done whipping up a batch of tomato bisque soup myself. Finally cool enough to stand over the oven and cook! I’m going to freeze it in single serving packets, as everyone but me is tired of it already. Tomatoes, coming out my ears!
I am jealous of your tomato abundance!
My tomatoes are starting to come through. The frost doesn’t seem to have done lasting harm. Although I swear Mother Nature has hit menopause. It’s back in the 100s again. Gag. I prefer running out with sheets at night.
I’m with Brightside-Susan. You may not have lost weight, but I’d bet you’ve lost inches! Keep at ‘er girl! When’s your first triathlon? *smirk*
So, is it an interview? Good luck if that’s the case. Otherwise, the pantyhose are freaking me out.
I, too, am perplexed by the hose, but I’m sending strong “go get ‘em” vibes!
I was on a crazy tomato kick thanks to my garden, but suddenly they are quite unhappy. But it was great while it lasted!
THIS and THAT
Pantyhose . . .
What are those?
Wednesday starting class
that’s a kick in my a..
Weeks are long but can be fun
‘course they’re better when they’re done
tomatoes… candy dancing on my tongue
like beautiful lyrics when they’re sung
seeds and berries-like an apple a day
they all help to keep the doctor away
yet even though I’d like to sit and stay
I still need to get out – to run and play
I am always amazed at how much exercise changed my life. As for the weight, remember, muscle weighs more than fat, so you might have lost weight, but your scale may not show it….
I’ve been working out like crazy too without a whole lot of pound droppage. I feel so much better though!
I bet you look FAB running! Weight-schmeight. It’s about how you FEEL!
