My bloggy friend Kate emailed something interesting to me earlier this week.
Lookee what the Bradford Exchange — purveyors of such fine collectibles as a replica Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup, the Little Charmers Baby Doll Collection, and some rather bizarre Princess Diana memorial art — is now selling:
That’s right, limited edition M&M sneakers, complete with a sparkly M&M charm on the laces. For only $59.95 (payable in three installments), you too can wear these valuable collectibles.
I ask you, who wears this stuff? Who pays $60 + s/h for shoes like that?

Oh. my.
I can’t imagine seeing these on an actual human.
They’re not even leathah.
I kinda like the shoelace charms…can you buy those seperately?
I might. You know I’m addicted to Crack&M’s and I’m also a total dork.
Dang, those are fugly!!!
They’re adorable. But only if they’re $15.
They look like something you should be able to get by sending in some M&M wrappers and shipping and handling money!
Whew. For a minute there I thought you were saying you LIKED these ridiculous shoes.
Its just so wrong that I don’t even know where to start!!!!!!!!
I saw an advertisement for these in the coupons that came in our Sunday newspaper!! I thought they were cute … for a five-year-old.
If they were less expensive….I would. They would be a great way to help my kindergartners that have trouble with the letter m. A pair of those would be a great visual for students. (I will confess, I would change to other shoes before leaving at the end of the day and going to run any type of errand.)
Wow. $60 for shoes that look like they come in the kid’s section…at Walmart!
Effing ugly. Fugly?
