Our child-free week here in Jenworld is nearly over. Pete and I went out for dinner on Monday and Tuesday and are going out again tonight. Tomorrow, I go pick up the girls.
While Pete and I have enjoyed this down time, we definitely miss our girls. We’ve called them every night and, while they seem happy enough to talk to us, it’s clear that we’re usually interrupting them while they’re in the middle of something fabulous.

That is so cute; how great they can have such a fun time with people that you are comfortable leaving them with! If they never went away long enough for us to miss them, we’d never know how special they really are, right? Especially when they’re driving us insane. The best part is they definitely missed you too. There just aren’t any photos of that!

Ah, so while you eschew the spa life, the Aunt teaches the girls to enjoy the finer aspects of treating yourself! : )

I do the same thing with all my nieces. You can’t help but spoil the girlyness! Love the girl time and love even more enjoying it when they are with me.
