People, I have a new website for you to look at: Fancy Fast Food. Go check it out!!!
[Waiting...]
Are you back? Can you even believe that? It would NEVER have occurred to me to take ordinary McCrap and make it look like something gourmet. I mean, who would have ever thought to take this:

… and turn it into this:

Or that this:

… could look like this:

And even if a person did think of something like this, who actually takes the time to make it happen?
What do you think? A marvelous form of art or a colossal waste of time?
I’m also over at Eco Women today talking about mandatory composting in San Francisco.
All photos in this post are courtesy of Fancy Fast Food.
If I want a quiche or pasta, I will buy or make a quiche or pasta. If I want fast food, I don’t want to then spend an hour turning it into something else.
Yeah, but how does it TASTE???
That does sound kind McGyverish – I liked the Popeye’s sushi
This is just wrong. And a colossal waste of time. I mean really. If I’m going to eat fast food, there’s no way it’s going to make it all the way home (did I mention the closest fast food is a 30 minute drive?), into my kitchen, and then be re-recipe’d.
Some of those look tasty, but…knowing you start with crap, you can’t really get anything great can you? For all that effort you might as well start from scratch. Cheaper and better ending.
WHY????
Colossal waste of time.
I’m impressed with anyone who puts time into cooking but I have to agree that it’s a waste of time to put effort into these ingredients.
WHY would someone ruin Taco Bell? It is PERFECT in its original form!
Wow. I can believe it, but I still think it’s crazy!
