In my post yesterday I announced that, contrary to Graceful’s plans otherwise, Pete and I are NOT getting a divorce. Really, we are not. I love my husband like a pig loves shit. Probably even more. Therefore, I am not going to divorce him.
But, if I were going to get divorced, I think it’s safe to say that I’d want to get married again. I like being married and I highly recommend it.
Since Pete has already chosen his second and third wives, I think I should go ahead and work on my line-up. Here are my options:

I think that’s a reasonable selection of candidates. I didn’t get greedy and come up with a list of 6 or 8 or even 12. Alison is going to raise hell since she swears she’s engaged to Daniel Craig, but she since she is now second in line to marry my husband, I think she’ll just have to get over Mr. Craig.
So let’s take a vote, shall we?
Feel free to list other names in the comments. I am always open to suggestions.
And, by the way, if Daniel Craig wins, I am NOT changing my name to Jenny Craig.
This is hilarious
Okay, I voted for Daniel Craig because Jason Bateman is already married.
To me.
Or, not really but he’s on MY list and I’m selfish.
Jenny Craig? Loved that.
There’s a great deal to be said for a sense of humor–Bateman it is.
Bateman it would have to be, but I would also like to nominate Nathan Fillion (he was on the TV show Firefly, for those who aren’t familiar with him.) I think he is a slightly sweeter and more upbeat version of Jason Bateman. (Funny. I didn’t realize that Bateman was a favorite for so many other women, too!)
As for Daniel Craig, my boyfriend knows that I just like to watch him walk. I don’t want anything else from him– just to watch him walk. No one does it better than him…
I’m not sure I’d get married again, but Jenny’d better watch out because if anything ever happened to my hubs, I’ll be having an affair with her husband. (Who knew there were so many Jason Bateman fans?)
I voted for Colin for you. Daniel is mine. Pete just better get used to being #2.
I too voted for Colin. Jason Bateman? Interesting…
Ooh, I like Fillion too. I love Dr Horrible’s Sing Along Blog
Jason, but if you allow write-ins I’d agree with Nathan Fillion. I’ve loved him since he was on One Life to Live.
After my non-divorce I’m never getting married again. It takes WAY too long to break in a new husband, the laundry situation will be cut by 50% and I’ll eat cereal for dinner every night.
I’m kinda surprised by your selection of Jason! In fact I had to do a double take. But really – either Colin or Daniel are way more your style. The fact they’re already settled in England so they can whisk you away any time you need a fix ought to just be the icing on the (wedding) cake. : )
And really. I think you need to pick Daniel just so you *could* be Jenny Craig and give some respect back to that name.
Damn it, Jen, you can’t have Jason. I’ve loved him since Silver Spoons. We go WAAAAAAY back. But I love you too much to make you Jenny Craig, so Jenny Damon will have to do. My apologies for making you marry the sexiest man alive (circa 2008).
My vote’s to make you Jenny Bateman.
Good call on Fillion! I’ll nominate him too.
I voted for Jason Bateman, but it was toss up for me between him and Collin Firth. I wanted to pair you with someone who is not only hot, but also has a good sense of humor.
You cannot marry Jason Bateman. He will be my last meal on death row. If I’m ever on death row. And I wouldn’t really eat him. I would just have him hug me to death.
It shows you how much I like you as a friend that I “gave” you Colin Firth in this poll when I, in fact, would want him for myself
this was too funny! I screamed out loud when I read ‘Jenny Craig’.
Colin Firth of course. Hello Mr. Darcy.
Tough call but Colin Firth wins. Jason Bateman would be second and then Matt Damon. Daniel Craig doesn’t really do it for me.
I’ll second nfmgirl’s Nathan Fillion suggestion. He’s yummy.
I know I’m new here, but may I play?
Colin Firth. Yum.
I reserve the right to lust after your new husband.
Jason really seems like a guy you could be married to–I like that in a fictional potential husband.
