Every night after dinner, we all migrate toward the Jenworld sofa. I have described this sofa before — it’s peanut butter colored leather and sitting on it is like being on clouds. We all love this piece of furniture.
Alas, the Jenworld sofa doesn’t hold all four of us on there comfortably. And if anyone wants to stretch out, there’s not a lot of room left.
Last night, I heard Pete head toward the sofa and thought that I’d mosey in there and join him. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a few quiet minutes together?
So I went around the corner and this is what I found:
I’m actually surprised she wasn’t up in his arm pit and grafted to his side, as that’s her usual preferred spot. That girl lurves her daddy.
In my Jenworld (Jenyeoldeworlde I guess as I am from the mother country) the sofa is mine, mine I tell you! Hence the reason J has a footstool so he can loll about too

Precisely why we bought a sectional. But there is a special love between a girl and her daddy. Very very sweet.

I get to lay on the couch only if I can squeeze between the dogs. For some reason, they cannot comprehend that they are NOT supposed to get up on the furniture.
