Because I know you’re a crafty bunch, I thought you might appreciate this tutorial on how to make a thong from a man’s tie. And, no, this is not a joke.
How about an entire blog for reusing old ties?
Or maybe you’d like to crochet yourself a cozy for your tampons? I like the banana one.
Anyone else seen any crazy crafts lately?
That’s WRONG!!!
Must erase from mind….ewss

I don’t even know what to say. My mind is completely blank. The thong ties and tampon sweaters have erased all thoughts.

this would be impossible for me as once when Mr. G. was out of town all his awful ties disappeared. We still haven’t figured out what happened to them…

A) Silk tie = silk underwear. Not the worst idea ever. Okay. Maybe it is : )
B) Just yesterday a friend wrote a post about crocheting and mentioned seeing a pattern for a chap stick cozy *in the shape of a penis*. Sadly, no link and no accompanying picture : )

I took a collection of my (dead) father-in-law’s ties and opened them, then used blocks of the different patterns for the border of a ‘memory’ quilt I had made for Doc from the cutouts of tee shirts he wouldn’t throw out: his boys from school teams, his from fishing tournaments, one of mine from “One Live to Live” when I worked there, etc. He loved it!
