Michele P. is a reader of this blog who, alas, does not have a blog of her own. When I first announced this Holiday Homes Tour, she asked if there was any way she could participate too. I told her I could post her photos here and she emailed them to me. When I saw the photos, I gasped, because her house is just so very lovely. Enjoy!

Christmas is by far my favorite holiday. I love to surround myself with things that make me smile, like the striped-leg table. My husband and I were walking by this little shop in NH’s White Mountains and it was in the window. He looked at me and said, “You have to have it, don’t you?” One of the many reasons I’ve been married to this man for 18 years!

Our house was built in 1880, but we added a family room and master suite 6 years ago. That was my chance to pick out colors and decor that make me really happy. My color choices may give some people a headache (sorry), but to me they’re positive and fun.

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone’s holiday homes.
Merry Christmas everyone!
