I’m number eight of eleven. All self-supporting and none of whom have ever been on the dole or in jail.

I have no children but try hard not to judge how many are “ok.” I figure I’ve done my part to keep my carbon footprint small.

What’s the cutoff? Two? Three? Four? Eight? One? or none?

I agree with the MomBabe – sounds like they’re a well-run family and no doubt the kids will grow up to be tax payers and have good jobs (and more kids). Better than the drop kicks who have kids to get more benefit payments like they do here in NZ.

Creepy is right, as too is the pelvic floor comment…..also the comment about having kids as servants to pick up the mess from having so many people in their house. You are all right!

…..and were they also compelled them to name all the children “J….”?

Just ghastly – does bear too much thought!

I read this earlier today and I do believe my head exploded a little. The article I read said even her oldest seemed shocked by the announcement.

What kind of example are they setting for their kids? Do they know there is more to life than having babies?

And how did those last 5 or 6 kids not just fall out?

Both of my parents came from large families, 9 & 10. They decided to have 2 kids. With so many in the family there is never enough of many things, and the older kids end up losing part of their childhoods, having to parent the younger ones. I think these people are insane.

I can’t wrap my brain around it either. How can her body hold up to all those pregnancies without her uterus and bladder falling out!!?

I think the kids haven’t had enough exposure to life outside the family to want anything different.
