Once upon a time, there was a man pumpkin…
… and a woman pumpkin…
… who fell in love.
They got married…
… and went on their honeymoon.
They lived in a cozy pumpkin patch and were very happy.
Their happiness was even greater when they had a wee gourd…
Eventually, the pumpkin patch was filled with gourds…
And they all lived happily ever after.
That is, until a human picked them and made pies.
The End.
(I clearly need to get a life.)

That is cute…it must have taken a lot of time and creativity
Did the girls help?
I love a good pumpkin tale…
Happy Working Mom: The girls spent about half an hour decorating and then the rest of it came together in about five minutes. I consider it a divine inspiration of sorts.
You need to get a life? Have you seen my recent posts?
This is brilliant! I laughed out loud at the honeymoon photo.
Very entertaining!
Anything to put off baking, eh?
That poor pumpkin family doesn’t know what’s in store for it…
That is absolutely adorable
I love the pumpkins. Where did you get the faces?
So Cute! My whole family had to gather round the computer to enjoy it. Well done!
Hotfessional: We’ve had those plastic pumpkin decorating thingies so long that I can’t remember where we got them. I do remember that they were super cheap and I probably found them at Walmart, Michaels Crafts, or some place like that. The plastic skewers that you use to stick the pieces into the pumpkins are flimsy and break easily, never to be fixed. So I use a nice to pierce the pumpkin where the girls want to put an eye or nose or whatever. It just adds to the macabre aspect of the whole situation.
This was hilarious!
